Campaign News: Bowstring Bridge Facebook campaign grows
More on this Campaign: Save the Bowstring Bridge 06 November 2007 Pump and Tap regulars and Bowstring Bridge enthusiasts have created campaign group on the popular Facebook social networking site.Only a week old the group entitled 'Save The Pump and Tap and Braunstone Gate Bridge!' already has over 500 members and has received publicity in the Leicester Mercury. This is the kind of local campaigning that Leicester needs if it is to retain and reuse any of its historic buildings. We urge everyone to sign our petition and join the Facebook group.
