Leicester City Council have finally come out of the corner and posted the 'stopping up order' which seeks to permanently close the Great Central Way between Bede Park and Duns Lane. You can view the notice below.

This is of course a pretext to their intended demolition of the bridge.

Hundreds of local residents want to see the bridge kept and we encourage you to add your voice to this campaign.
